What’s next?
I wrote the last entry before lunch. After lunch I came back to find that Johnnie Moore’s blog had been picked up by Wayne, writing the ideafestival blog. He comments on John’s comments on my comments (does this make you feel there is a bit of accepting going on?). My comment (on his comment on John’s comment on my comment) is that joy is indeed a part of strategy. What I mean is that if you can create the conditions where people are experiencing joy in their relationships with each other, i.e. enJOYing themselves, the chances that they will be much more effective. Or as I put it in the book (page 230):
Uncertainty, not control, opens the door to surprise, discovery and delight. The fresh thought, the new insight, the unlooked-for ca-
ress—all require some measure of doubt, ambiguity or unpredictability.

Hi the book sounds great (I read Mark Earl’s blog) but I can’t get a copy from amazon.co.uk (they’re out of stock) or from the OYF website (webpages won’t load). Actually I’d really like an audio version of it because my eyes aren’t up to much but the audio link doesn’t seem to be working either. Hope the craziness of launch is not putting a dent in things, please can you point me in the right direction? thank you, Anne.

Amazon stocking is proving a headache, you are right! There system is very slow to show they have received stock, however you can place an order even if they say they are out of stock (it says this on their site if you look carefully) and it will be fulfilled, even if takes a few days longer than normal.
Audio is working normally for me, but I will get the tech guys to check on it.
